Rock Springs Internship

Rock Spring is the home of the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center, one of several research facilities at Penn State University’s College of Agricultural Sciences. Located about 10 miles southwest of University Park comprises 2,200 acres of land. Several distinct farms comprise the site. They include sites focused on the following areas of agricultural science: Agronomy, Entomology, Horticulture, and Plant Pathology. Additionally, the Pasto Agricultural Museum is open year round on the site, with events, tours, and programs connecting the tools and technology of our agricultural past to the present day for 10,000 visitors annually. Ag Progress Days, the largest agricultural expo in the east, occurs every August. Partners including the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA ) maintain research facilities at the site.
This summer I had the privilege to be apart of the Rock Springs Internship and I am stationed out of the Past Agricultural Museum. Follow the Rock Spring Internship blog to follow all the interns and myself summer internship experience.
